How do we pay for the movies we screen - the distributors’ costs, theater rental, shipping, promotion, and all the other expenses we incur? Largely through the generosity of individual sponsors.

As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, the Ojai Film Society has limited choices for raising operational funds. One of them is to offer annual Sponsorships. In return for a one-time payment at the beginning of the year, Sponsors are admitted free to all 36 regular OFS screenings through December 2008.

In exchange for helping us with our cash flow, as a Sponsor you get a dramatically reduced price for our Sunday afternoon films. Considering that general admission is $8, and seniors (65+) and full-time students pay $5, the savings can be substantial. But equally important is the knowledge that – through your support – you are contributing to the enrichment of your community.
